St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children recently hosted its annual prom. The event is part of St. Mary’s Medical Day Healthcare Program, which supports young people with cognitive and physical disabilities. Many of the patients have never had the opportunity to attend a prom before, making this celebration especially meaningful for them and their families. This year’s event featured music, dancing, a photo booth, and a dessert bar, all thoughtfully designed to create an inclusive and joyful experience.
St. Mary’s cares for children and young adults with medically complex conditions, partnering with families to provide personalized support– not only for medical care, but also for moments that make childhood and young adulthood special, like experiencing prom.
