If you’re planning to head down to watch the Knicks’ championship parade, you may already be out of luck. Hours before the event is supposed to take place, the viewing pens are already full, according to the NYPD.
As a result, new attendees will not be allowed in the viewing area. Those already in the viewing area can’t leave without giving up their spot.
It’s not a shocking result considering the Knicks’ long wait for a title and their fans’ rabid enthusiasm for the franchise. Many, many fans are expected to be in attendance for Thursday’s parade, even if they won’t be able to watch it from the viewing pens.
