Police arrest Rhode Island man wanted for murder in New York

Rhode Island State Police said a North Providence man wanted for murder in New York was captured.

Police said the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, the FBI and NYPD officers arrested Antonio Jimenez, 46, of North Providence, on Thursday.

Jimenez was wanted for first-degree murder. He was arraigned as a fugitive in Providence County District Court.
