The Citizens Queens 10K returns to Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Saturday, June 20, 2026 — the fourth race in the NYRR Five Borough Series, celebrating “The World’s Borough” and its unmatched cultural diversity. A sold-out field of 12,000 runners tours the park past its most iconic landmarks: the Unisphere, the giant steel globe built for the 1964 World’s Fair; the Queens Museum; and the scenic Meadow Lake. The course is flat, paved park roads starting and finishing near the Fountain of the Planets. Citizens returns for its third consecutive year as title sponsor. Nearly 1,000 youth ages 2 to 18 join the free Flushing Meadows Kids Run. The post-race festival — open to the public from 8 a.m. to noon — features live DJ music, a popsicle truck, brownies from Queens Night Market vendor Dilena’s Dolcini, and high-profile raffles including an item signed by Eli Manning, tickets to the New York Giants 2026 home opener, tickets to The Public Theater’s Free Shakespeare in the Park (presented by Citizens), and entry to the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon. Charity beneficiary: Pursuit, a Queens-based nonprofit helping low-income New Yorkers launch careers in technology and AI.

Prize Money
Equal prize money for men, women, and nonbinary. Top Queens finisher (NYRR Member Division): $500. Eligibility: valid paid NYRR membership since at least March 13, 2026 + finish in 42 minutes or faster. $100 time bonus for breaking the event record (gun time).
Course Description
Start/Finish: Meridian Road near the Fountain of the Planets, Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Mile 1: Start on Meridian Road between the Avenue of Discovery and the Avenue of Research. Follow Meridian Road → left onto Meadow Lake Road West / Meadow Lake Promenade → Meadow Lake Drive West → bear right onto Meadow Drive.
Mile 2: Right on Meadow Drive → around Meadowlark Circle → cross the Amphitheater Bridge → Avenue of Asia → right back toward Pacific Avenue → left → left on Meridian Road.
Mile 3: Follow Meridian Road → right onto New York Avenue → immediate left onto Hall of Science Bridge → continue to finish area near Fountain of the Planets.
