MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – C. Clyde Jones, former Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce chair, died Friday at the age of 102.
Jones was a well-known pillar in the Manhattan community and the oldest living former chair of the MHK Chamber of Commerce.

The MHK Chamber of Commerce hopes to keep his legacy alive with the C. Clyde Jones Volunteer of the Year Award, honoring people who demonstrate his spirit of generosity, community service, and love for Manhattan.
Jones was also the former dean of the College of Business at Kansas State University from 1962-1967.
He returned to campus each semester as a guest lecturer, sharing stories and wisdom.
Jones also served in the Navy and was a World War II veteran.
