MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman was transported to the hospital after she was injured in a two-vehicle collision Friday morning in Manhattan, officials said.
Officers responded to a report of an injury crash at approximately 8:09 a.m. on Friday in the 300 block of N. 5th Street in Manhattan.
Upon their arrival, Riley County police officers found 2019 Kia Sportage, driven by Mary Margaret Keithley, 81, of Manhattan, had collided with a 2020 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by Elizabeth Marie Passmore, 36, of St. George.

Passengers in the Pacifica included Elsie Passmore, 7, Penelope Passmore 6, and Dominic Passmore, 3, Riley County Police officials said.
Keithley was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan for treatment of her injuries. She was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign, officials said.
