New York-New York Hotel and Casino is ringing in the nation’s 250th birthday with more than just fireworks. The Las Vegas Strip resort will host the America Two-Fifty Bridge Bash on Saturday, July 4, transforming its iconic Brooklyn Bridge into the site of an officially sanctioned Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest qualifier.

The competition, sanctioned by Major League Eating, runs from 4 to 5 p.m. and doubles as a pathway to next year’s nationally recognized Nathan’s Famous championship at Coney Island on July 4, 2027. Whether they’re seasoned competitors or first-timers chasing a mustard-yellow belt dream, interested participants can register at majorleagueeating.com.

The fun kicks off well before the first hot dog is consumed. Family-friendly activities begin at 3 p.m. and include $2.50 food and beverage specials, oversized yard games, face painting, and live music — making the event a welcoming option for guests of all ages. The evening wraps up with a fireworks display at 9 p.m.
