Cops are looking for the suspect who allegedly groped a 15-year-old girl on a bus in Flushing.

Police from the 109th Precinct in Flushing are looking for a suspect who allegedly subjected a 15-year-old girl to sexual abuse onboard an MTA Q44 bus on Thursday, June 11.
Police say the teen was standing on the bus as it approached the intersection of Main Street and Horace Harding Expressway when a stranger stood next to her and proceeded to touch and rub her body. The suspect ran off the bus and fled in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured during the encounter.

The NYPD released a surveillance image of the suspect and described him as having a light complexion. He is approximately 60 years of age, 5 feet 9 inches tall and around 165 pounds with a medium build, short salt and pepper hair and a white mustache. He was last seen wearing a maroon polo shirt, black pants, a black baseball cap, black-rimmed eyeglasses and a black book bag.
A reward of up to $3,500 is being offered for information that leads to his arrest and indictment.

Through June 21, the 109th Precinct has reported 39 sex crimes so far in 2026, two more than the 37 reported at the same point last year, an increase of 5.4%, according to the most recent CompStat report. Transit crimes are way down in the precinct with eight reported so far this year, 14 fewer than the 22 reported at the same point in 2025, a decline of 63.6%, according to CompStat.
