One hundred thousand free tickets are up for grabs to see the fireworks in the city on July Fourth, Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Wednesday.
Those interested in watching the fireworks from a viewing area along the waterfront in Brooklyn or Lower Manhattan can enter a lottery online before it closes on June 29.
“You are cordially invited to celebrate July 4th with us,” the mayor wrote on social media.
Winners will be notified via email, and will be able to select from one of four viewing sites, subject to availability:
Zone A: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 1
Zone B: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Piers 2 and 3
Zone C: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Piers 5 and 6
Manhattan: South Street Seaport, Seaport Square
Ticketed viewing will open at 4 p.m. in Brooklyn and at 6:30 p.m. in Manhattan.
Non-ticketed viewing along the FDR Drive will open at 6 p.m.
