MINEVILLE, N.Y. (WCAX) – Vermont-based distiller WhistlePig has sold its New York property.
Moriah’s town supervisor says the investor group Zags 26, LLC. purchased the Mineville property for just over $17 million.
He said WhistlePig is entering into a lease with the new owners and will maintain operations in New York. No workers are expected to be laid off.
WhistlePig officials did not immediately return calls for comment.
