Monday’s Powerball drawing produced a couple of “Big Money” winnners in New York State. The New York State Lottery announced that there were two tickets sold in New York that won the 3rd-place prize of $50,000.
Powerball Winners In New York State
Two lucky Powerball players in New York are $50,000 richer. There were two 3rd-place winning tickets sold in New York from Monday’s drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number.
There were also 26 4th-place winning Powerball tickets sold in New York from Monday’s drawing. Those tickets matched four out of five numbers but missed the Powerball number. 20 of those tickets won $100 each, while the other 6 had the Powerplay and won $200 each.

On top of those winners, there were also 49 5th-place winning tickets sold in New York State. Those tickets matched three out of five numbers and also had the Powerball number. 43 of those tickets won $100 while the other 6 had the Powerplay and won $200 each.

Did Anyone Claim Last Night’s Winning Powerball Jackpot?
There was no grand prize winner from last night’s $420 million dollar drawing. Since no one won the jackpot for the next drawing on Wednesday is now up to $438 million dollars. That jackpot would be the 2nd largest jackpot ever won in New York if someone from the Empire State were to claim it.
