1. City Hall staffer released from ICE detention after 158 days
City Council staffer Rafael Rubio has returned to work at City Hall for the first time since spending 158 days in ICE custody.
Rubio, who was granted asylum and released on Juneteenth, thanked City Council Speaker Julie Menin and his legal team for helping secure his freedom. The Department of Homeland Security is appealing his asylum ruling.
2. NYC Pride March celebrated along Fifth Avenue
