Otsego County officials declared a weather-related state of emergency in the town of Pittsfield Tuesday evening.
The county’s Office of Emergency Services says several roads have been deemed “impassable” due to downed trees and wires.
The county declared there be no unnecessary travel during this time.
Officials say the state of emergency will be in effect for 30 days, or until an official order rescinds it.
