Candidates endorsed by the city’s chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America swept nearly every race last Tuesday except one in Harlem.
State Assemblyman Jordan Wright defeated his primary challenger, Conrad Blackburn, a democratic socialist.
Wright, whose family has deep political ties across Harlem, is now on track to win a second term in the state Legislature.
