The Blue Angels will lead a formation of aircraft on the Hudson River and near the Verrazzano Bridge beginning around 10 a.m. on July 4(Advance/SILive.com | Jan Somma-Hammel)
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A massive formation of U.S. and international fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft will fly over the Hudson River near the Verrazzano Bridge on July 4 at around 10 a.m. as part of an International Aerial Review.
The Blue Angels will lead the flyover, which will include aircraft flying in coordinated formations over the International Parade of Sail. Officials said the display will also feature a surprise element that has not been disclosed.
Spectators and nearby residents are being advised to use ear protection due to the anticipated noise level.
