Emmy-winning actor and comedian Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) will host the 2026 Fire Island Dance Festival, set for July 18 at 5 and 7 PM and July 19 at 5 PM in Fire Island Pines in Fire Island, New York.

Produced by and benefiting Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares, the annual Festival celebrates dance while raising funds for lifesaving programs around the country. 

“Fire Island Dance Festival is
a magical summer tradition I’ve admired since I first attended years
ago to watch a friend perform,” Hiller said in a statement. “Getting to be part of it
is truly a thrill for me. It brings together impeccable artists, an
extraordinary community and an organization that literally changes
lives. I originally assumed I was being invited to dance in the
festival, but I’ll happily settle for hosting. Though if anyone needs an
emergency grande jeté, I’ve got legs for days.”

Attendees can expect to enjoy Complexions Contemporary Ballet sharing
the contemporary duet “First Comes Love”; Tony nominee Robbie Fairchild (An American in Paris) previewing his new pas de deux with Vincenzo DiPrimo; Chris Jarosz (Wicked) opening the festival with a world premiere brought to life by Broadway dancers; Leggybones Physical Theater performing
an athletic contemporary work; Miami City Ballet presenting an excerpt from Roses from the South: Three Waltzes for Toby, a work by Alexei Ratmansky; New Chamber Ballet presenting the elegant and intimate Mandragore; Smuin Ballet delivering an excerpt from The Singer and the Song, which marries classical ballet technique with other dance forms; Ricky Ubeda (Illinoise) sharing a world premiere; and Jake Vincent, previously of Paul Taylor Dance
Company, bringing another world premiere group work.

Since its debut in 1995, Fire Island Dance Festival has
raised more than $10 million to help provide lifesaving medication,
nutritious meals, counseling and emergency financial assistance to those
in need in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.
