A prolonged stretch of dangerous heat continues Thursday, with possible record-breaking high temperatures and heat index levels and little to no relief in sight. Central Park hasn’t had a day hit 100 degrees since 2012, but there is a decent chance that changes Thursday or Friday. Or both.
