A pair of social media influencers who scaled the Empire State Building’s antenna were arraigned in Manhattan on Thursday.
Angelina Nikolau, 33, and Ivan Kuznetsov, 32, have been charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree criminal mischief, third-degree burglary and BASE jumping, according to a complaint filed with the Manhattan district attorney’s office.

News helicopter video showed the two climbers — whose “rooftopping” excursions were reportedly chronicled in a Netflix documentary called “Skywalkers: A Love Story” — kissing atop the Empire State Building’s antenna as part of an apparent marriage proposal.
The two hung a banner that read, “When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace” before police ultimately took them into custody.
According to the complaint, the NYPD responded to a report of a possible security breach at the Empire State Building’s antenna around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday.

Nikolau and Kuznetsov were released under supervision after their arraignment, the Manhattan district attorney’s office said. Their next day in court is Aug. 24.
