Brooklyn Beckham stayed noticeably silent following the announcement that his father David would be receiving a knighthood. The 26-year-old, who is the eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham, is believed to be embroiled in an ongoing family feud alongside his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Reports from insiders that Brooklyn and Nicola are not currently on speaking terms with the rest of the Beckham clan have been rife for months. Their alleged falling out was brought to the public’s attention earlier this year when the couple skipped David’s 50th birthday celebrations in May.
The football icon, who was officially knighted on Tuesday during a ceremony at Windsor Castle, was listed on the King’s Birthday Honours List in June.
However, while the rest of the Beckham family publicly rejoiced over the news, Brooklyn chose to stay quiet, the Mirror reports.

Instead of addressing the news, the aspiring chef posted an Instagram promoting pretzel pita chips shortly after the announcement that his father was being made a Sir by His Majesty, King Charles.
This bizarre move left many of his followers puzzled.
According to insiders, David never mentioned the accolade to Brooklyn and the 26-year-old learned about his father’s achievement through the media.
Despite his public silence, one source claimed that while Brooklyn was “thrilled” for his dad, he is choosing to maintain “no contact” with his family for now. Their family feud dates back to Brooklyn and Nicola’s lavish 2022 wedding in Palm Beach, Florida.

Tensions reportedly grew when Nicola expressed interest in wearing a wedding dress designed by Victoria Beckham but due to scheduling conflicts at Victoria’s atelier, it couldn’t be produced.
The American actress instead opted for a custom Valentino gown, allegedly leaving Victoria feeling side lined and sparking discord.

In 2017, he reportedly ruined his chances over leaked emails where he allegedly branded the honours committee “unappreciative c***s” and mocked others’ awards.
However, eight years on, Beckham will now finally be known as Sir David, while his wife Victoria will be styled as Lady Beckham.
