Police say a man was found dead on a couch inside a Crown Heights apartment.
The discovery unfolded inside 1722 Union St. just before 9 a.m. Thursday, after a 911 caller notified police about the man.
According to the NYPD, officers found him unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics arrived a short time later and pronounced him dead at the scene.
Information about who first found the man and called 911 was not immediately made available.
His identity has not been released as of Thursday evening.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine a cause and manner of death.
