A sudden blaze flared on the iconic bridge after a fireworks display, prompting rapid response from crews and a temporary closure while officials investigated.
On Saturday evening, during the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Show in New York City on the Brooklyn Bridge, a fire briefly broke out.
Video footage showed that around 9:00 PM several flames appeared on the bridge, including from areas where fireworks were being set off. Police said no injuries were reported.
