Suffolk Police said Sunday they are investigating the killing of a man found in the parking lot of a Long Island Rail Road station in Bay Shore.
Investigators say officers were on patrol when they spotted Yolandus Pratt, 34, of Bay Shore, unconscious in the station’s north parking lot. They say Pratt was a “victim of violence,” but did not detail how he was attacked.
Officers rushed Pratt to South Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead soon after.
Authorities have not released any details on who might be responsible or what may have led to the deadly confrontation.
