Woman, 27, arrested in connection with theft of pets in Manhattan

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A woman was behind bars in the Riley County Jail on Monday following her arrest in connection with burglary and stealing items including pets from a mobile home park in Manhattan, officials said.

The incident was reported around 2:28 p.m. Friday, July 3, in the 2500 block of Farm Bureau Road.

Riley County Police listed Redbud Estates as the victim in the case when it was reported that a known 27-year-old woman illegally entered a unit and stole various items, including pets.

Police subsequently arrested Sarah Elizabeth Fisher, 27, of Manhattan, around 3:27 p.m. Friday in connection with burglary and contributing to a child’s misconduct.

Fisher was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remained Monday in the Riley County Jail, officials said.
