IN PHOTOS: New York State Fair Shines Under Moonlight

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Tickets and parking passes for The 2026 Great New York State Fair will be available for purchase starting at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7.

Governor Kathy Hochul announced that a single admission ticket will cost $8 and includes access to all grounds entertainment, agricultural exhibits, live demonstrations and the Chevrolet Music Series.

Admission remains free for people 65 and older and children 12 and under.

This year’s Fair will feature more programming than previous years, according to officials, with dozens of live performances, returning favorites, new competitions and a fresh lineup of vendors in the Taste NY marketplace. 

Hochul said, “The Great New York State Fair is a time-honored tradition, celebrating our agricultural heritage and a cornerstone of our summers here in New York State.”

Frequent Fairgoer passes are available for $25, allowing entry once a day throughout the 13-day Fair.

Parking costs $12 per vehicle.

Advance tickets for the Midway rides will be available soon.

Fairgoers can buy tickets and parking online, by phone at 1-800-514-3849, or in person at kiosks from Aug. 26 through Sept. 7.

Including fees, admission is $8.32, Frequent Fairgoer passes are $25.70 and parking is $12.41 per vehicle.
