CANARSIE, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A 27-year-old woman was shot in Brooklyn early in the morning on the Fourth of July, according to the NYPD.
The incident happened around 1:45 a.m.

Police say an unidentified individual opened fire inside 8920 Avenue D.
The victim was hit in the right leg and taken to a local hospital in stable condition.
The NYPD released images of the suspect who fled the scene.
