New York voters will head to the polls on Tuesday to decide whether to allow the Olympic Regional Development Authority, or ORDA, to continue using protected land at the Mount Van Hoevenberg Olympic Sports Complex.Proposal 1, which is on the back of all New York voters’ ballots, asks if ORDA should be allowed to continue to use about 235 acres of forest preserve land in North Elba, which is in Essex County.ORDA has already been using that land for more than four decades. ESSEX COUNTY, N.Y. —
