The Marshall-Putnam County Fair will begin its annual queen pageant at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 12, in the Hunt Building at the Marshall-Putnam County Fairgrounds, 915 University Ave., Henry.
The pageant’s Little Miss Contest features 19 contestants. The Junior Miss and Miss pageants will begin at 4:30 p.m. The Junior Miss pageant includes seven contestants and six contestants in the Miss pageant. The contestants will compete to represent Marshall-Putnam County during the year.
The current Miss Illinois County Fair Queen, Krista Phillips, will also attend to encourage and support the contestants.
