MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was being held on a $50,000 bond in the Riley County Jail following his Monday night arrest in connection with assault, domestic battery and other offenses in Manhattan, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 7:42 p.m. Monday in the 1300 block of Marlatt Avenue.
Deepre Lamar Williams, 31, of Manhattan, was being held Tuesday on a $50,000 bond in the Riley County Jail following her Monday night arrest.(WIBW)
Riley County police said officers filed a report for two counts of assault, two counts of intimidation of a witness or victim, and one count each for criminal threat, domestic battery, criminal damage to property and interference with a law enforcement officer in connection with the incident.
A 31-year-old woman was listed as the victim, while a known 31-year-old man was listed as the suspect.
Deepre Lamar Williams, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 7:48 p.m. in connection witih the case.
He was booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with two counts of assault; two counts of intimidation of a witness or victim; and one count each for criminal threat, domestic battery, criminal damage to property and interference with a law enforcement officer.
Williams remained Tuesday in the Riley County Jail.
