LYONS, N.Y. — Five people ranging from the ages of 19-21 are facing charges following a weapons investigation in Wayne County.

State Police say a verbal argument turned physical between multiple people on June 30 near William Street and Queen Street in Lyons.

During the fight, investigators say one of the people in a car displayed a gun a threatened someone while preventing others from intervening.

The car was later found on Geneva Street by troopers. All five people in the car were safely detained. During a protective frisk and subsequent probable cause search of the car, State Police say they found two loaded handguns, and a loaded Ruger .45 caliber pistol reported stolen by the Rochester Police Department.

The following people were arrested:

Justin Letts, 20, of Geneva, N.Y.

Brandon Thomas, 19, of Waterloo, N.Y.

Harmonajah Shorter, 20, of Waterloo, N.Y.

Latrell Graves, 19, of Savannah, N.Y.

All five were processed and brought to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment.
