Just months after the NYPD vacated its longtime home at 524 W42nd Street, the building has a new owner.

BD Hotels, the New York-based hotel company founded by Richard Born, has purchased the four-story property for $10 million, according to city property records first reported by Crain’s. The building had housed NYPD units for more than three decades before the department moved out earlier this year.
