On June 9, QSAC, a NYC and Long Island based nonprofit that supports children and adults with autism, held its annual fundraiser dinner at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers. Evan Metalios, Board Member and Board Treasurer, was honored with the Beacon Award. The award recognizes champions for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have made a meaningful and measurable difference in the lives of people with autism and their families through service, advocacy, leadership, and philanthropy.
