Amon-Ra St. Brown announces engagement to high school sweetheart Brooklyn Adams with adorable post

DETROIT LIONS star Amon-Ra St. Brown and his high school sweetheart Brooklyn Adams have finally ‘hard launched’ their relationship.

The Lions wide receiver and Adams announced on Instagram on Tuesday that they had got engaged.

Adams shared the news on her social media with a series of photos on a boat, including one of St. Brown down on one knee.

“Hard launch,” Adams captioned the post as they both wore all-white outfits with matching floral arrangements around them.

The world got to know Adams when St. Brown featured on Netflix’s ‘Receiver’ documentary in 2024.

At the time of recording, she was going through nursing school and in a long-distance relationship with the Lions star.

Not long after, she graduated to become a nurse and the iconic couple bought a house together in Michigan.

Now the couple have taken the next step in their relationship which has lasted over 10 years already.

Unsurprisingly, the comments on Adams’ Instagram post were filled with notable names sharing their congratulations.

Veteran NFL wide receiver Keenan Allen wrote, “Congrats family!”

American actor Taylor Lautner added, “LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!! Congrats you two.”

Atlanta Falcons star wide receiver Drake London also posted, “Congrats to you both man!”

Former Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone joked, “About time!!! @amonra_stbrown congrats!“

They were just a few of the astounding 3300 comments on Adams’ post after announcing the news on Tuesday.

The Lions star and his fiancee will be hoping that is not the only glittering ring that is acquired by the family this year.

While the team had a disappointing 2025 NFL season, St. Brown once again topped 1,100 yards and will be aiming to do that for a fifth year in a row in 2026.
