An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting of a teenager in Brooklyn Park over the weekend.
At around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a shooting at Hartkopf Park and found a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head.
Officers provided aid but he died due to his injuries. The teen was later identified by law enforcement as Immanuel Kowo.

On Wednesday, Brooklyn Park police said that while the investigation is ongoing, a 17-year-old boy has been arrested and the weapon used in the shooting has been recovered.
The suspect is currently being held at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center on probable second-degree murder.
