Discussions continue in Clifton Park over the creation of a code of conduct at town board meetings.
It would include a provision that allows the town supervisor to remove people deemed “unruly.”
Public pushback at the meeting led to the measure being tabled.
Republican Town Supervisor Phil Barrett says he’s against it.
“I will not remove anybody from a meeting unless there is a physical confrontation or something for that matter, but in 27 years I haven’t removed anybody from a meeting,” he said.
