Skeletal remains were found inside a vacant brownstone in East Harlem, police said Thursday.

Someone connected to the property on E. 115th St. near Third Ave. checked in on the home and found the remains in a room about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.

The city Medical Examiner will determine the age, race and gender of the person, as well as the cause and estimated time of death.
