What happens when two women come together with a common dream? You get The Granola Bar, a women-owned business with two Manhattan locations at 330 Madison Ave. and 22 East 43rd St., the latter of which recently opened on July 9.
The two locations serve up brunch options, all-day dining, and culinary experiences while creating a warm atmosphere for everyone.
At 330 Madison Ave., the flagship location, menu items including the restaurant’s signature house-made granola, JJ Henao’s Sweet potato pancakes, Parmesan-crusted avocado grilled cheese, grilled peach and ricotta toast, are each widely loved by diners.
The Granola Bar aspires to “execute differently” by putting an extra twist on brunch and all meal times, serving items such as “The Bar Caesar” salad, burrata appetizers, and dinner-time highlights like truffled deviled eggs, gochujang shrimp, steak frites and latkas, and even caviar.

Depending on the hour of the day, the cocktail list adapts from daytime to evening, offering classic tastes such as margaritas, old fashioneds and martinis, and distinctive libations such as a hibiscus-jalapeno margarita, a gin martini variant called “Midtown,” and an espresso martini.
Julie Mountain, The Granola Bar’s co-founder and co-CEO, expressed her thoughts on the restaurant: “We built The Granola Bar for exactly that: somewhere you can feel the room the second you walk in, where the experience moves as fast as you do, and the food meets you where you are. Hospitality isn’t a production here, it’s just genuine.”
The flagship restaurant is a 2,500-square-foot space decorated with warm lights, flowers, and candles, adding personality to every table to give you the ultimate brunch experience. The marble tables, neutral color palette, white botanical wallpaper and vintage-inspired decor give the establishment a refined look.
The location at 22E 43rd St, a takeaway location right around the corner from the flagship, has the same great taste and vibe, but just a flexibility for customers who don’t want the sit-down aspect, fitting perfectly into the New York City vibe.
The 1,000-square-foot establishment offers to-go menu items such as sandwiches, salads, and iconic house-made granola and bars. Beverages such as coffee, and dirty sodas are available at the location as well.
Co-Founder/Co-CEO Dana Noorily said, “Some days you want to sit down and stay a while; other days you want what you love in five minutes flat. Now Grand Central has both, two doors apart.”
Whether dine in, or to-go, The Granola Bar offers flexible options for every customer who wants to enjoy brunch at any time of the day while still providing a warm atmosphere and experience. For more information, visit thegranolabar.com.
