A 61-year-old man died after he was riding an e-bike through a Brooklyn park and collided with a fallen tree branch, cops said Friday.
The man was maneuvering his e-bike on a bicycle path inside Owl’s Head Park when he struck the downed bough near Shore Road and 68th St. in Bay Ridge around 12:25 a.m. on May 29, according to law enforcement.
The cyclist was thrown from his bike, suffering a serious head injury, police said.
Medics rushed him to Langone Hospital, where he died a week later on June 5.
The victim’s name is being withheld pending family notification.
