Brooklyn Beckham has remained silent following the news that his father David Beckham is set to be knighted, with sources claiming the 26-year-old is still not on speaking terms with his parents

Brooklyn Beckham remained noticeably quiet after his father David was awarded a knighthood. The 26 year old eldest son of David and Victoria is reportedly embroiled in a family feud with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Insiders claim Brooklyn and Nicola aren’t currently speaking to his parents. The divide, which widened after the pair didn’t attend David’s 50th birthday party in May, seems to have played a role in Brooklyn’s silence about his father’s recent accolade.
David, who officially received his knighthood on Tuesday at a Windsor Castle ceremony, appeared on the King’s Birthday Honours List in June. While other Beckham family members celebrated publicly, Brooklyn remained silent. The wannabe chef instead shared an Instagram story advertising pretzel pita chips soon after the news broke that His Majesty, King Charles III, was making his father a Sir – a decision that baffled many of his followers.

Sources say David didn’t inform Brooklyn about his honor and the young man discovered the news from media reports, reports the Mirror.

Though he stayed publicly silent, one insider suggested Brooklyn felt “thrilled” for his dad but continues to prefer “no contact” with his family at present. The family conflict originated around Brooklyn and Nicola’s extravagant 2022 wedding ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida.
Tensions reportedly flared when Nicola showed interest in wearing a wedding gown created by Victoria Beckham, but scheduling issues at Victoria’s fashion house prevented it from being made.
Nicola selected a custom Valentino dress instead, allegedly leaving Victoria feeling overlooked and triggering friction.
Nicola subsequently dismissed any feud in media appearances, describing the dress controversy as exaggerated.
The strain has manifested through social media slights, absence from events like Victoria’s runway shows, and missing family holidays.
By 2025, it intensified, with the pair skipping David’s birthday celebration, sparking rumors of a more serious breakdown.
Sources suggest Brooklyn feels caught between his spouse and his parents, with Nicola reportedly promoting separation from the family.
David’s knighthood introduces another layer to the unfolding saga. The soccer legend has long desired the “Sir” honor for his athletic achievements, UNICEF contributions and charitable endeavors.
His aspirations suffered a setback in 2017 following leaked correspondence purportedly revealing his anger at being passed over, labeling the honours committee “unappreciative c***s” and ridiculing other recipients’ accolades, which postponed his prospects.
Nevertheless, Beckham will now officially be recognized as Sir David, while his wife Victoria will be addressed as Lady Beckham.
