NEXT.io has confirmed that NEXT Summit New York will move to Convene, Hudson Yards, for its 2027 edition, taking over a bigger and more premium home in the heart of Manhattan.
The summit will take place on 13 and 14 April 2027 and is built to welcome 2,500 senior leaders from across the online gambling and sports betting industries.
The move is a deliberate step up. After record attendance in 2026, NEXT: New York is planting a flag as the executive event for the industry in North America.
It is the room where the most senior executives from operators, suppliers, investors and media come to do real business, and the new venue is designed to match that standing.
The 2027 edition also shifts from March to April. Moving to 13 and 14 April will give the industry a cleaner run into the year and sets NEXT: New York apart as the marquee gathering of the North American season.
“New York has become the arena where our industry does its most important business in North America,” said Pierre Lindh, co-founder and managing director of NEXT.io.
“Moving to Convene at Hudson Yards is us being honest about what this event has become. It is the senior room, and it deserves a senior home.
“We are putting a stake in the ground here. This is the premium summit for online gambling and sports betting on this continent, and we are building it to be exactly that,” he added.
NEXT growth continues
The upgrade sits on top of significant investment across the wider business. NEXT.io is doubling its team between 2025 and 2026 and will have more than 100 full-time employees next year, giving the company far greater capacity to strengthen the event and the value it delivers to the industry.
“We are doubling our team to more than 100 people by next year, and that matters for one simple reason,” said Lindh. “It means we can put a lot more into the event itself. When you grow the team, you grow what you can give back to the people who show up.
“Our job is to make these two days the most valuable days of the year for the senior end of this industry, and we now have the resources to do it.”
NEXT: New York 2027 will bring together operators, suppliers, start-ups, investors and tier-one media for two days of content and connections at the top end of the market, supported by a programme of high-level networking around the main summit.
