Readers looking for an excuse to take a walk uptown in the next couple of days will find something difficult to miss outside AMC Lincoln Square: a roughly 40-foot Trojan Horse now towering over Broadway. The movie prop has appeared before the New York premiere of Christopher Nolan’s new mythological epic.

The giant wooden-look sculpture has been installed beside the movie theater at Broadway and W68th Street ahead of Tuesday night’s New York premiere of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey. Surrounded by temporary fencing, tents and other preparations for the red carpet, the horse rises almost to the height of the neighboring buildings and can be spotted from blocks away.
