NEW YORK STATE (WRGB) — New York State has launched a campaign to educate youth and families about cannabis.
The campaign is called “Cannabis Honestly.” State leaders say the goal is to provide facts while addressing misinformation.
It will include videos, guides, educational tools and downloadable materials in English and Spanish.

The state says the materials will also help healthcare providers, along with educators, youth-serving organizations, coaches and other trusted adults.
The state says 23 listening sessions were held across the state and more than 450 people gave input.
This all comes as the cannabis market in New York State expands.
New York State legalized adult-use cannabis in March 2021. There are currently nearly 700 adult-use cannabis dispensaries across the state.
