On July 12, 2026, at approximately 4:20 p.m., New York State Police in Poughkeepsie responded to the area of 1624 Main Street in the Town of Pleasant Valley for a report of suspicious activity.
Upon arrival, troopers located a deceased male in Wappinger Creek. At this time, there are no indications of criminality. The investigation is ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
