Child car set check for July 14 in Tompkins County

New York State Police will be hosting a free child passenger car seat check in Tompkins County. 

Date: Tuesday, July 14, 2026 

Time: 4:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on-site to:

Inspect your car seatEnsure proper installationAnswer questions and provide guidanceHelp you feel confident your child is traveling safely
