Brooklyn native and heavyweight boxer Pryce Taylor kept his undefeated streak alive after defeating Isaac Munoz in a near-shutout 10-round unanimous decision victory in the main event of Wynn Records Networks’ debut event from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Taylor, who holds a 13-0 record with eight knockouts, controlled the fight for all 10 rounds. The 6-foot-4 boxer leaned on his height and reach advantage to break down Munoz, who has an 18-3- 1 record with 15 knockouts. He won the bout with the judges scoring it 98-92, 98-92, and 97-93.

Taylor, who remained confident and collected throughout the bout, seemingly scored a knockdown in the final seconds of the sixth round with a sweeping overhand left. Yet, referee Roberto Ramirez did not recognize the knockdown.

“The fight would have gone differently if they called the knockdown,” Taylor said post-fight. “If you’re being supported by the ropes, that’s a knockdown. If it was called, it would have made him want to fight harder so he could win.”

“I want all the fighters. Efe Ajagba, I see you on the bench. Come off the bench and fight me. Kingsley Ibeh, I’m going to take you out. All the fighters, Daniel DuBois, Anthony Joshua, I want the smoke.”

The five-fight broadcast was promoted by Universal Promotions and Salita Promotions in association with Wynn Records and was the first in a long-term partnership between Salita and Wynn that will develop and test some of boxing’s most promising prospects.

Taylor delivered in the main event, while Kiria Tapia defeated Alba Sánchez via unanimous decision. Litzy Vazquez also dethroned defending champion Edith Soledad Matthysse to capture the Women’s WBA Interim Super Lightweight title via majority decision.

Super featherweight prospect William Colon defeated veteran Jeremy Triana by knockout. In the opening bout, Johanna Wonyou kept her undefeated streak alive by beating Tania Walters via unanimous decision.
