BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) — The NYPD is searching for a suspect after a 47-year-old man was injured inside a subway station in the Bronx on June 27.

The incident happened at the Fordham Road/Grand Concourse station at around 2:20 p.m.

Police say the victim was on the southbound D platform when an unidentified man shoved him into an arriving train.

The victim suffered injuries to the mouth and face as his head hit a moving train car, police say.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

The NYPD released the following photo of the suspect, who fled the scene.
