Will Queen ever tour again?
While the tragic death of Freddie Mercury in 1991 put an end to his era of Queen, the band survived his passing to continue to play their massive hits on several tours.
In 2005 they joined forces with Paul Rodgers for 64 shows across the globe, and they followed it up with the Rock the Cosmos Tour a few years later.
After they parted ways with Rodgers, they partnered with Adam Lambert for a decade of shows as Queen + Adam Lambert, but their last concerts took place over two years ago.
Drummer Roger Taylor is going out on a solo tour this year in support of new album Violence Insane in a Beautiful World, but there aren’t any Queen dates in the pipeline.
There’s been speculation about a return to the road for Queen, and Taylor has now answered the question on whether they’re planning any live shows.

“Well, it is a big machine to gear up, if you know what I mean,” Taylor told the BBC.
“I think it’s more down to Brian than me. I love playing live. I enjoy it, always have.
“So if we both wanna do it, I’d be happy to. But we’ll see. Never say never.”

Queen’s last live show was the closing date of the Rhapsody Tour, which took place on Valentine’s Day at the Tokyo Dome in 2024.
