OSWEGATCHIE, New York (WWNY) – New York State Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects involved in a burglary at a residence on Haggert Road in the town of Oswegatchie.
Troopers responded to the residence at approximately 2:30 p.m. on July 11, 2026. An investigation determined that two unknown individuals forcibly entered the home by prying open a door with an unknown tool. The suspects stole several items before fleeing the scene.
Investigators believe the suspects were last seen leaving the area at approximately 5:30 a.m. on July 10, 2026, traveling from Haggert Road onto Lee Road in the town of Oswegatchie.
Residents in the Haggert Road and Lee Road areas, as well as surrounding neighborhoods, are asked to review any home or business surveillance footage recorded between the early morning hours of July 10 and the afternoon of July 11, 2026.
Anyone who observed suspicious activity or has surveillance footage that may assist investigators is asked to contact New York State Police at (315) 379-0012.
