MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was being held on a $1 million bond in the Riley County Jail after he was arrested in connection with rape on Wednesday morning in Manhattan, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as Kevin Kendre Brown, 43, of Manhattan.
Riley County police arrested Brown in connectioin with the rape of a victim younger than 14 years of age; and aggravated indecent liberties with a child younger than 14..

Brown was arrested around 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road and remained in the jail on Thursday.
