SEATTLE — A wildfire estimated at 25 acres is burning northwest of Lake Kachess between Three Queens and High Box Mountain, according to Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue.
Firefighters were working Thursday to contain the blaze as U.S. Forest Service air and ground resources responded. Some resources were already on scene, while others were en route, according to the fire agency.
Officials asked the public to avoid the area while firefighting operations continue.
No information was immediately available about the cause of the fire or whether any evacuations or structures were threatened.
Snoqualmie Pass Fire & Rescue said additional information will be released as it becomes available.
