– Fraud via cyberspace on the 8500 block of Tessman Farm Road North
– Trespassing at a parking lot on the 7600 block of Brooklyn Boulevard
– Simple assault at a home on the 7900 block of Lee Avenue North
Included in the Brooklyn Park Police Department’s emergency alerts were these incidents:
July 10 — At 12:53 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 6600-block of Bethia Lane for an adult female that had been stabbed. It was learned that the victim was stabbed by their adult male domestic partner in a nearby house in the 6700 block of Bethia Lane. As officers approached that residence, the adult male exited with multiple wounds consistent with being caused by an edged weapon. Officers rendered aid to both parties and they were transported to an area hospital for further care. The incident remains under investigation. Officers were assisted by Brooklyn Park firefighter/paramedics and crime scene deputies from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office.
July 11 — At approximately 1 p.m., the Brooklyn Park Police Department, along with several other agencies responded to a missing person in the area of Mississippi Regional Park. The incident resulted in a large public safety response on both sides of the river to conduct a search. The missing individual was located and found to be safe.
